The sport

Why short track?

A full pack on one tight oval, no lead safe until the line. It's the most unpredictable sport on ice — and the most fun to manage.

  • The racing

    Decided on the last lap.

Pack racing means contact, crashes, and disqualifications can shake up the result on the final corner — no lead is ever safe.

  • The format

    Three distances, every weekend.

500m, 1000m, and 1500m each competition means hat tricks (top-3 in all three) happen and your squad scores from every race.

  • The data

    Straight from the source.

Every point in Short Track Manager comes directly from official international results. No guesses, no delays.

FAQ

Before your first draft

The handful of things people ask before locking in a roster. Want the full picture?

  • Yes — the Basic plan is free forever. Pro adds more transfers, private league creation, and deeper analytics tools.

  • No. Points and prices come from real results, but the game tracks all of that for you. Pick the skaters you believe in and watch the races.

  • Straight from official international results — finishing positions, podiums, and relays. A skater's price rises and falls with recent form, so spotting who's about to peak counts as much as picking the stars.

  • Yes. Every transfer window gives you free transfers to swap skaters as form and prices move — two on Basic, seven on Pro.

  • Seasons run June 1 to May 31. Scores and leaderboards reset each season, but your account, leagues, and subscription carry over.
